Now don't get me wrong here! Yahoo!, GMail, Hotmail, and all of these mail systems are much safer for you since they work in your browser. It adds two layers of protections: (1) the mail system itself protects you by taking away viruses altogether and (2) the browser protects you since the hacker would need to "attack" the browser before it can attack your computer (with FireFox and SeaMonkey, they will have an even harder time.)
