Country Dialing Codes

Got an email with a weird phone number like +225 ...? That's the country dialing code! With the following table you can find the country that corresponds to a specific code or the code of a specific country (click on the column title to switch the order.)

Today (Feb 21, 2008) I actually received a call from +225 02 41 40 47 (+22502414047) The + means it comes from outside the country. And looking up the table below, this is Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast.) Did not leave a message or anything. I looked in my 12 months archive and could not find it. Nor could I find anything about that number with Google.

Okay... now you cannot find that number in the list below? And the number looks like a US/Canadian number? (i.e. 999-999-9999). Then you may want to check the code on Wikipedia. Use the following URL and add the US or Canadian area code after that:
