This is a new one... many people now get gift cards, so it makes sense that the scams would follow the shift and offer an "ATM card" with that $10M inheritance or whatever that money comes from.

I like the fact that they have probably no idea that there is a hard limit on a card. The highest I've seen is $50,000 per month. The only way to get more is to get multiple cards.

So to spend a while $10 million, it would take you... 200 months, which represents 17 years. And that's only if you're able to spend all of that money each month.

Anyway, that does not work that way. An ATM card is linked to a checking account so you'd get the money on a checking account, not an ATM card.

Notice the form too... they ask for my Age and Gender. I don't recall my bank asking those questions. Maybe because I did not open an account recently. Do they ask that?!

Of course, they ask for $25 to get the card "shipped" to you. Probably not going to receive anything and you can kiss those $25 good bye for sure.
